Plans change, and the weather in El Nido can too. Here is how cancellations, changes and refunds work.
If you cancel
- 3 days (72 hours) or more before the tour: full refund, or move to another date for free.
- 1 to 3 days (24 to 72 hours) before the tour: 50% refund, or move to another date for free once.
- Less than 24 hours before the tour, or no-show: no refund.
If you need to change your booking
- Changing the date, number of guests or pickup place is free if you tell us at least 24 hours before the tour, subject to availability.
- Send your request from your account (My trips, then "Need to change or cancel?") or message Anang on WhatsApp.
If the weather cancels the tour
- When the Philippine Coast Guard or the Municipality of El Nido suspends tours, you can choose a free move to another date or a full refund of what you paid.
- If a tour has already started and has to end early because of the weather, the full rate applies, as stated in our FAQ. Your guide will make the most of the day safely.
- Routes and stops may change on the day for safety. This is not a cancellation.
If Anang cancels
If we cancel a tour for any other reason, for example a shared tour without enough guests, you get a full refund or a free change to another date or tour.
Fees paid separately
The environmental fee and entrance fees are paid separately and are not part of the tour rate, unless a package says they are included. If you paid any of them through Anang and the tour does not run, they are refunded in full.
How refunds are paid
- Refunds are processed net of applicable surcharges and taxes.
- Refunds go back to the same payment method: GCash, Maya, card or PayPal.
- We aim to process refunds within 7 working days. Card refunds can take longer to show, depending on your bank.
Van transfers and packages
The same rules apply to van transfers. Packages that include hotel stays may also follow the hotel's own cancellation rules, which we will share with you before you pay.
